It's us!

Do you know how hard it is to do the self timer on your own family portraits? It's really hard! Especially when you are trying to get the dog to stay and look and your husband is in charge of holding onto him and he is unable to smile because the dog really doesn't want to be sitting there. Those were pretty smiles LOL. *sigh*

So, these aren't perfect, the ones of the family together, but they look pretty good and they will look nice on our Christmas cards. Hope you like them!

They made me laugh!

These guys were very funny and fun to watch them interact. That's one of the things I love about photographing large families; the way they react to each other. This lil girl is a lucky one to have all these handsome brothers wrapped around her lil finger LOL.

Just a note about packages and a couple other things.

Hi everyone,
I've had a lot of traffic on here recently, and I really appreciate that!

I think some folks are confused about my pricing. The packages for the Holiday Portrait Spectacular are solely for that particular event; if you have a regular session with me (ie not an event date) then the prices that I give you in your packet are the ones that apply. Most likely I am changing my structure for next year on many things, and that will most likely affect my packages etc.

Shipping is extra. We live in Alaska, there is no way around it. I am trying to find a way to make it easier, but even multiple orders come in multiple boxes. If I could find a professional print house right here in Anchorage that offers what my vendors offer, I would switch in a heartbeat. But since that option is not available right now, I will continue to use the vendors that I use and pay for shipping. I know, it's not a fun subject LOL.

My email is not working properly at this time. I do not know why. I apologize if you have tried to contact me through email and I have not received it. I've also emailed several people and they have not received my email. I will be calling ACS later on today to find out what the problem is.

Please do not contact me through my website, where it says "contact HBP". That link isn't working. Instead, you can click on my profile here on the blog, and send me an email that way.

It was all about the snow balls LOL

Please meet this cute toddler and his big twin brothers. He was a sad guy on Saturday because he hadn't taken a nap; this time of year is just packed with all kinds of fun things to do and he was too busy. However, tears quickly turned to laughter and smiles as he got to eat his graham crackers and then throw snowballs at his daddy!

Wendy and Greg, I so enjoyed seeing you guys again on Saturday. It has entirely been too long since we got together. I hope you love your sneak-peek! More to come! I love this effect; this is an illustrated effect, so it looks like a painting... pretty cool, huh?

A sweet couple!

My friend Marivic and her husband Jim just celebrated 10 wonderful years together. This couple is so sweet and I love them dearly. Marivic was not sure what to expect when she came over the other night because they've always gone to Sears, she said. She said she was very impressed and wanted to tell everyone about HBP!

Operation: Love Reunited Reunion

I love to do the reunions. The anticipation of waiting all those months to hold your beloved family member(s) in your arms after being away from each other is a treasure to remember always. I'm so grateful for being an affiliate photographer for Operation: Love Reunited so I can capture these moments for eternity and give the images to the family as a way of giving back to those who serve so selfishly.
