A brand new baby!

Some of you may know this great family. I have photographed them before, and this is the newest addition. Her daddy is deployed right now and he was the very first person who got to see these images. I hope you love these, M, your newest daughter is just beautiful, and as I told your husband, she is peaceful, and a sunbeam, with her wavy hair and soulful eyes. Oh What a happy day! Homecomings are the sweetest, and I LOVE to capture those quick moments of joy when a beloved family reunites at the airport. The anticipation, the embraces, the smiles, laughter and tears of joy are what make me want to do these over and over again.

Operation: Love Reunited

This slide show isn't my work, but I think it's so powerful. I love doing these sessions and am grateful for the opportunity to serve military families in my area who have loved ones deploying soon. For those of you who are thinking about having portraits done, I hope you decide to do it. For those who are on the fence about doing homecomings, oh please let me capture those first few moments of the emotion and love and surprise and all the things that come with it.
