Super cute family!
It was one of those days that the Powers That Be in the photography world cast a shining smile on the kids and they ALL co-operated and smiled and behaved themselves. That is til the baby decided that while Mom and Dad were getting their pictures taken that she wanted to squirm out of her car seat. LOL. But then she forgave me and all is well. Look how adorably cute and close this family is to each other! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing these guys. There are so many great ones it was hard to choose! :D

Amazing Aviation! Portrait Sessions
Amazing Aviation sessions for your little pilots, mechanics, wing-men and model airplane fans are coming really soon! Bring your kids over for a "two-fer"... they get to play dress up and play and YOU get beautiful, antiqued portraits that I know you will cherish for years to come.
This event is happening June 4 and 5, 2010 and will be located at my home studio on base. If you need help getting on base we can make those arrangements for you.
This session is fun for boys and girls from ages 7 months to 7 years. We provide basic costumes and props but you are welcome to bring your own items as well. All YOU need to bring is your child (obviously) in clean, plain jeans, a dark t-shirt with no writing on it, and work-boots. We provide the rest!
This is the perfect Father's Day gift, especially if your husband works on the flight-line or for the airport. Call today for more info and to schedule your session. Spaces are limited and demand will be high!

A Ballet Baby!
Look how adorable this young lady is! She was a sweet lil girl, winsome and quiet, and very interested in everything we were doing. I so enjoyed photographing her and talking to her momma that morning. Thanks Miss K!

The COOLEST backyard, EVER
This is friend, Ivan, and his wife Cheree, and their 2 adorable sons. Ivan is the gentleman who built my super-cool website and I am forever grateful for the fabulous job he did.
They recently moved to a place with the hugest backyard that overlooks Mt. Eklutna (I think!) except on the day I went to their house to photograph them, it was cloudy and rainy. *sigh* Which meant that the mountain was playing peek-a-boo... I tried to drive fast to beat the rain, but I didn't make it... but! their images turned out great, and this is just a sampling of them.
Now, their backyard is just ginormous. You get the gist of it somewhat in the first image with all four of them together. What you don't see is the area for the fire pit, the side yard with a dog pen, the bluff that overlooks the valley part and ... the COOLEST 2-story play house you've ever seen! The image of the boys on the step is at the play house and it's just awesome!
Ivan and Cheree, thanks so much for your hospitality and letting me come over and spend time with you guys, getting to know you better! And you guys made great models!

Lovely Senior Portraits
I received a phone call about Senior portraits from a family in Palmer, and I went up there on
Friday afternoon, the other most beautiful day last week! I was so grateful to have such beautiful weather, and even the trees and clouds cooperated with me.
This is Amanda, and she is a lovely young lady. This family just moved here from the lower 48, and from what I can tell, they already love it here! We did outside portraits, and also studio portraits, and had a really good time. Thanks to Amanda's sister and mom, we got quite a bit of use out of the reflector so lighting was *perfect*.
I think these turned out great... Amanda and family, I hope you love your sneak-peek, 'cause I sure do... and Gina, there's a surprise for you at the end!
